Valutazione delle tendenze ascendenti degli inquinanti nelle acque sotterranee

Le procedure implementate tramite questa piattaforma fanno riferimento alle Linee Guida pubblicate nel mese di agosto 2017 (Manuali e linee guida 161/2017, ISBN: 978-88-448-0844-0).
Il DM del 6 luglio 2016 modifica l'allegato 1 del D.lgs n. 152/2006. Esso richiede delle linea guida per valutare le tendenze ascendenti e l'inversione delle tendenze relative agli inquinanti nelle acque sotterranee. Relativamente ai corpi sotterranei ritenuti “a rischio”, è proposto l'utilizzo del test non-parametrico di Mann-Kendall per lo studio delle tendenze ascendenti di una serie temporale, quindi attraverso il metodo di Sen è stimato il valore della endenza (coefficiente angolare) utile a determinare la significatività ambientale di tale trend. Una volta adottata questa procedura alle singole stazioni di campionamento, sono indicati i criteri per attribuire lo status di tendenza significativa e duratura all'aumento, oppure lo status di inversione di tendenza, all'intero corpo idrico.
Le linee guida sono state elaborate in collaborazione fra IRSA-CNR, ISPRA e SNPA con il supporto della Direzione generale per la salvaguardia del territorio e delle acque del Ministero dell'Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare.

Assessment of upward trends of pollutants in groundwater

The procedures implemented by this platform derived from the Guideline published in August 2017 (Manuals and Guideline 161/2017, SBN: 978-88-448-0844-00). The Ministerial Decree of 6 July 2016 modifies the annex 1 of Legislative Decree n. 152/2006. This MD requires guideline to assess upward and reversal trend of pollutants in groundwater. For groundwater bodies defined “at risk”, the guideline proposes the application of the non-parametric Mann-Kendall test to assess the presence and significance of an upward trend and the Sen’s method to estimate the trend value (slope) needed to define the environmental significance of the trend. Once this procedure is applied to each monitoring site, the criteria to assign the status of significant and sustained upward trend or of trend reversal to the entire groundwater body are established. The Guideline has been developed in collaboration between the Water Research Institute , the Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research and the National System for Environmental Protection with the support of the Italian Ministry of the Environment.
